The cottage is nestled in a pine tree forest with gardens, an outdoor patio and a huge deck for spectacular sunset views.
The cottage offers three bedrooms, 1 1/2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a living room. Outside surrounding the house are patios and decks overlooking Cape Cod Bay. Including top of line Weber gas BBQ grill and the favorite "Sun Shower."

Our Gardens
Every year we add to our gardens that bloom throughout the season. A variety of trees shade the property and even blueberries mid-summer!

The Sunsets are incredible, setting over Provincetown, and the Sunrises are unbelievable filling the sky with a spectrum of color. The Full Moon is spectacular, including a 180-degree Sky for Star and Planet Observation.
Sun-shower & decks all around
Featured is our Cape Cod facing outdoor Deck off the Living Room and several in the bluff/pine trees seating areas. We created these seating areas based on the direction of the sun, wind, and bay view. Another favorite is the outdoor sun-shower overlooking the bluff.
The Far Horizons Cottage
Our parents bought the cottage in 1959; there were no trees and little beachgrass at the time. The cottage went through revisions to include rooms, bathroom, Main Deck, and storage. The family developed multiple courtyards and seating areas surrounded by flowers and trees.

Walk, jog, or bike ride down Bay View Road or Start from your private beach
With nature on both sides, you'll have 1.5 miles of fun. It'll be a great chance to learn about Truro's past.
Pilgrim Pond Park
November 16, 1620 marks the location where the Pilgrims spent their 2nd night in the new world and this is recognized by a plaque citing the event and the names of the Pilgrims.

Highland Light
Highland Light Station, also known as Cape Cod Light, is located on Outer Cape Cod within Cape Cod National Seashore in North Truro. Commissioned by George Washington and established in 1797 as the 20th light station in the United States. The naturalist and author Henry David Thoreau visited Highland Light several times in the 1850s. Thoreau found the lighthouse "a neat building, in apple pie order."

When we opened our doors in 1994 in the former boat yard in North Truro, our focus was on herbs, spices, and potpourri items. We take pride in our over 350 products that include spices, herbs, teas, extracts, salts, essential oils and much more. Our eclectic mix of gourmet food items, dried fruits and nuts, coffees and teas, is matched only by our unique collection of houseware and tabletop items, kitchen gadgets and cookbooks.
Corn Hill
A plaque at the base of Corn Hill commemorates the event. The inscription reads, “Sixteen pilgrims led by Miles Standish, William Bradford, Stephen Hopkins and Edward Tilley found the precious indian corn on this spot which they called Corn Hill, November 16th 1620. And sure it was gods good providence that we found this corn for else we know not how we should have done.”
